The future of Delphi_Is delphi easy to learn?

Personal opinion:

Many people seem to think that Delphi has declined and is outdated (many colleagues around me have never heard of Delphi).

But I don’t think so. "Real programmers use C, smart programmers use Delphi" is the most classic and realistic description of Delphi. Perhaps it is a bit far-fetched to say this now, because the Internet is now so popular that B/S programs have far overshadowed C/S programs.

But C/S programs can never be replaced (including the necessary software for B/S - the browser is the Client)! Development of C/S programs: C, Delphi, C# (I personally don’t know much about other C/S development languages ??and think they are not as popular as these three). Let’s talk about these three languages: C is very flexible (the commonality of low-level languages), but it is too complicated to use. You have to write any function yourself. To put it bluntly, it is difficult to control without considerable skills; C# should be the most popular language in recent years. It has many applications, why? Because it is too simple (the commonality of high-level languages), many functions can be done by dragging a control; Delphi is highly flexible and easy to operate. Delphi's control library is too powerful.

But when using Delphi, you need to use D6 and D7, because 6 and 7 are the two most perfect versions of Delphi, which also brought Borland products to their peak period. As for the others, they are too bad, especially After Borland was acquired, it was terrible. I think Delphi

XE3 was released. This is still Delphi, it is completely out of Delphi style!

Speaking of the future, some people may think that Delphi has relatively few recruitments, which must be admitted. Because Delphi's recruitment is almost always targeted at large group companies, and many of the enterprise software of famous large group companies at that time were from Delphi. So if you learn Delphi well and find a Delphi career (although there are few recruitments, it is relatively easy to find if you learn it well), your returns will be very considerable, and may not be worse than a C programmer (learning Delphi is much easier than C) .

The above is only my personal opinion (no disparagement of other languages), and the content is for reference only.
