Zhejiang: Ningbo civil servant interview method introduced, those with less than 60 points will be eliminated
Interviews for Ningbo City’s civil servants recruited for the 2007 examination will begin on the 10th of this month, and the specific interview methods were released yesterday. It is understood that the interview mainly tests the candidate's oral expression ability, analytical ability, reaction ability, accuracy of answering questions, realistic spirit, behavior and appearance, etc. Interview scores are calculated on a percentage basis, and those with less than 60 points will be eliminated.
According to this year’s interview method, the city will set up 9 interview evaluation committees to conduct interviews at the same time. Each committee will have 5 fixed judges and 2 non-fixed judges. Each county (city) district has 1-4 judging committees.
The fixed judges at the city level will draw lots on the day of the interview to decide on a certain interview committee. The comrades dispatched by the city to serve as judges in counties (cities) and districts are uniformly dispatched. If there are two or more interview judging committees in the county (cities) and districts, the decisions will be made by drawing lots in the county (cities) and districts. In addition, each judging panel is equipped with one supervisor, one scorer, one reviewer each, and two liaison officers (one male and one female).
The interview time is March 10th at the city level and March 10th to 11th in all counties (cities) and districts; it starts at 8:30 am and starts at 1:00 pm. 30 minutes before the interview, candidates should gather in the waiting room and draw lots to determine the order of the interview.
The interview questions are unified across the city, with one set every half day. The interview mainly uses a combination of required answers and questions. After candidates enter the interview room and get the test questions, they are allowed to think for 2-3 minutes (outlines are allowed), and then answer all questions continuously. Answer questions generally in Mandarin. The examiner and the employer's judges may decide whether to ask questions after the examinee has answered all the questions based on the candidate's answers. After each candidate finishes the interview, he should put the test paper on the table, sit back and wait for the judges to score, and the examiner will inform the interview results on the spot. The interview score is the average of the judges' scores (removing one score and the lowest score), which is calculated by the scorer and reviewed by the reviewer. Among them, in order to unify the scoring standards, on the morning of March 10, each judge can independently balance and modify the scores of the top three candidates to basically unify the individual scoring standards. After the scoring of the first three candidates is completed, the scores will be handed over to the scorer. Starting from the 4th candidate, each judge must score on the spot without balancing. The interview results are the only basis for calculating the interview score.
