New South Station: Jinhua South Station will gain new life due to its capacity expansion. At present, the new Jinhua South Station building has entered the design stage. Information provided by the railway design department shows that the original demolition of Jinhua South Station will expand the total construction area to about 6,000 square meters, with one main floor and two partial floors. The exterior facade is inspired by traditional Chinese auspicious patterns. Through Jinhua Dongyang woodcarving, an intangible cultural heritage, conveys and interprets the traditional culture of Jinhua. The main body of the station building is simple and clear, with intertwined shapes and vertical long windows, giving it a modern urban feel. The passenger flow and transportation organization of the new Jinhua South Station is somewhat similar to the current Jinhua West Railway Station, that is, the basic platform close to the station building is flat in and out, and a new intermediate platform is built. Access to the intermediate platform requires tunnels and escalators. According to the railway's vision, the newly built Jinhua South Station will become a comprehensive passenger transport hub centered on railway passenger transport and integrating multiple modes of transportation such as buses, taxis and social vehicles.
