Pingjiang to Yiyang expressway starts from Shiniuzhai (Hunan-Jiangxi border) in the east and ends at the junction of Bijiashan in the west.

Pingjiang to Yiyang expressway, referred to as "Pingyi Expressway" for short, has a total length of176.654km. The road is a two-way four-lane expressway with a design speed of120km.

Pingyi expressway connects Pingjiang County, Yueyang City, Hunan Province, China and expressway, Heshan District, Yiyang City. It is one of the components of the first intelligent expressway Pingjiang-Dongkou expressway (Hunan Expressway S20) in Hunan Province.

On July 29th, 20 19, construction started from Pingjiang to Yiyang expressway; On October 28th, 2022/KLOC-0, Pingjiang to Yiyang expressway was opened to traffic.
