The origin of Shenzhen Tangkeng
Located at the intersection of Huandao Road and Humen Liaison Road, Nansha District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province.
South of Nansha Street and north of Daling Street Village. Tangkeng is one of the oldest villages in Nansha District, formerly known as Yinkeng and Shi Yang. In the first year of Yuan Dynasty (134 1- 1368), Wenqing Zhu (that is, Yabao, the grandson of Zhu Zhongyang in Shenwan Village) came here to settle down and build a village. (See Nansha Town Records page for details).
Tangkeng, which has a history of more than 600 years, is built by an ancient village that faces south or northwest to southeast along the mountain, forming a "well"-shaped village street, and the roadway is paved with bluestone.
