Shanghai's new social security card can be activated through Alipay Citizen Center. The specific operation steps are as follows:

Activate 1 through Alipay Citizen Center and click Citizen Center.

Go to Alipay's homepage and click Citizen Center.

2. Click on "Social Security"

Click the "Social Security" function to enter.

3. Click on "Electronic Social Security Card"

4. Click "Get Electronic Social Security Card"

Click "Get Electronic Social Security Card" to activate.
