The upper and lower limits of social security contributions in Beijing

Legal analysis: All the basic pension insurance, unemployment insurance, industrial injury insurance, and basic medical insurance (including maternity) for enterprise employees in Beijing are unified for the upper and lower limits of the five social insurance contribution bases, of which the upper limit is adjusted to 28,221 yuan and the lower limit is adjusted to 5,360 yuan.

Legal basis: "Notice on the upper and lower limits of the wage base for each social insurance contribution in 2021"

Article 1 Starting from July 1, 2021, the upper limit of the monthly contribution base of basic pension insurance, unemployment insurance, work injury insurance, and basic medical insurance (including maternity) for employees in the year of 2021 in the city shall be adjusted to RMB 28,221 yuan.

Second Article According to the spirit of the Circular on Reducing the Social Insurance Premium Rate of the City (No. 67 of Beijing Renminsha Zuifa [2019]), the standard of the lower limit of the monthly contribution base for enterprise employees' basic pension insurance and unemployment insurance for the year of 2021 shall be adjusted to 60% of the average monthly salary of the employed persons of the full-caliber urban units of the City in the previous year, and the lower limit of the monthly contribution base shall be RMB 5,644 after calculation.

Article 3 Considering that the monthly contribution base floor affected by the epidemic in 2020 is using the 2019 standard, in order to appropriately slow down the increase, in accordance with the requirements of the two-year transition of the national contribution floor in place, the monthly contribution base floor for basic pension insurance for enterprise employees, unemployment insurance, industrial injury insurance, basic medical insurance for employees (including maternity) will be implemented in 2021 at 5,360 yuan; the authorities and public institutions Employee basic pension insurance monthly contribution base lower limit implementation 5644 yuan.
