Social security cards do not have to be handled at designated banks. Banks such as Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Construction Bank and Agricultural Bank can apply for social security cards. The specific treatment method is as follows:

1. Generally, when you enter an enterprise or unit, you will apply for social security for each employee. If the unit has paid social security, the unit shall handle social security cards for the workers. Of course, individuals can also apply to the bank. There are two kinds here: local and remote. Like college graduates, they joined a company, some files were moved with their registered permanent residence, some files were moved here, their registered permanent residence was still in their own homes, and some two didn't move here.

2. Local hukou only needs an ID card. If the hukou is not local, you can go to a nearby photo studio to issue a photo receipt, as long as you apply for social security;

3. Take the bank as an example. Fill in the business application form and social security card application form with your personal ID card and photo receipt for social security. There are templates. If you can't fill in or don't know, you can ask the lobby manager and relevant staff. After a month, you can go to the processing point to get it back. At that time, there will be a text message in your mobile phone asking you to go to the bank to get your social security card. When you get the card, the staff will ask for two passwords. One is the medical insurance card password, that is, you need to enter the password when you go to the pharmacy to buy medicine or go to the hospital for reimbursement. There is money in it. Another password is equivalent to a bank card, which can deposit and withdraw money, including pension.
