The place of registration of the participating units

Legal analysis: the place of registration of the participating units is different from the place of work, and social security needs to be paid in the place of registration of the company. Generally, the company is domiciled where its main office is located. According to relevant laws, the contributing unit must register for social insurance with the local social insurance agency and participate in social insurance.

Legal basis: Article 57 of the Social Insurance Law of the People's Republic of China The employer shall, within thirty days from the date of its establishment, apply to the local social insurance agency for social insurance registration on the basis of its business license, certificate of registration or seal. The social insurance agency shall examine and approve the application within fifteen days from the date of receipt of the application and issue the social insurance registration document. If the employer's social insurance registration matters are changed or the employer is terminated according to law, the employer shall, within thirty days from the date of change or termination, apply for change or cancellation of social insurance registration at the social insurance agency. The market supervision and management department, civil affairs department and organization and preparation management organs shall promptly inform the social insurance agency of the establishment and termination of the employer, and the public security organs shall promptly inform the social insurance agency of the birth and death of an individual, as well as the registration, relocation and cancellation of the household registration.
