Brief introduction of Yubei district

Yubei District is located at the north gate of Chongqing's main city, surrounded by three mountains: Tongluo Mountain, Mingyue Mountain and Longwangdong Mountain, and surrounded by the Yangtze River and Jialing River. In the 19th year of Qianlong (1754), Jiangbei Hall was established. In the second year of the Republic of China (19 13), the hall was changed to a county, and in 1994, the county was withdrawn to build a district. With a total area of 1452 square kilometers, it governs 1 1 town and 19 streets (including 8 streets directly under Liangjiang New District).

The built-up area has expanded to 202 square kilometers, the permanent population has exceeded 2.2 million, and the urbanization rate has reached 89.7%. It is the first "Double 200" urban area in the city.
