Tickets mentioned in these Measures include paper tickets, railway e-tickets, railway boarding cards and other qualified boarding certificates. Real-name registration system's ticket purchase refers to the ticket buyer holding the valid passenger ID or the railway transport enterprise holding the valid passenger ID. Real-name registration system ticket inspection refers to the behavior of railway transport enterprises to check the identity information recorded in the ticket purchased by real-name registration system with the original of the passenger himself and his valid identity documents (hereinafter referred to as "ticket, person and certificate").

Real-name registration system ticket purchase and real-name registration system ticket inspection are collectively referred to as real-name registration system ticket management.
