There are two cases:L

1, deep households: you can use the balance of the medical account in the social security card to buy medicine and and outpatient. The money will be deducted from it. If you are hospitalized, you will use your social security card to settle the bill at the designated hospital. Part of it has to be paid in cash, part of it has to be deducted from the medical account, and part of it is paid by the social security fund.

2: Non-Shenzhen households: the health insurance card has no money at all, only the pension account has a balance. So it can't be used for outpatient care, and you can't use your social security card to buy medicine. Only when you are hospitalized can you use your social security card. The part that can be reported is paid by the social security fund, and the part that can't be reported is paid in cash by yourself.
