In order to further improve the basic medical insurance policy, in view of the problems reflected by the insured, it is decided through research that the policy of interrupting the payment of basic medical insurance for urban employees and the trial period of participation are adjusted as follows:

First, after the insured person suspends the medical insurance relationship, if he is employed by the employer or resumes payment according to the flexible employment insurance method, he will no longer be forced to pay back the medical insurance premium during the interruption of payment, but if the actual balance of his personal account is in arrears, he shall pay it in advance. Among them, if the local household registration personnel voluntarily pay medical insurance premiums during the above-mentioned interruption of payment, the payment base will still be implemented according to the relevant provisions of the Notice on Defining the Payment Base of Basic Endowment Insurance and Medical Insurance for Urban Employees (Kunlao Social Insurance [2006]18). If the actual balance of the personal account is not paid, it will be paid off accordingly after payment.

Second, after the household registration insured and the employer terminate or terminate the labor contract according to the flexible employment method, or the original flexible employment insured continues to pay medical insurance premiums, and the payment is interrupted within 12 months. When the payment is resumed, the medical insurance premiums during the interruption period will be paid according to the regulations, and the medical insurance benefits can be resumed from the next month; If the medical insurance premium during the interruption of payment is not paid at the time of resumption of payment, or if it is paid again after the interruption of payment 12 months, the relevant treatment for specific items of hospitalization and outpatient service will be resumed from the seventh month after payment.
