3. Review by the social security organization of the transferring place: After receiving the application for transfer, the staff of the transferring place will carefully verify the information of the individual's participation in the insurance program and the individual's years of working experience, etc., and print the contact letter of transferring the basic medical insurance relationship for those who are eligible to be transferred to the transferring place and mail it to the social security bureau of the transferring place, respectively.

4. The social security organization of the transferring place sends back the information: after receiving the "Contact Letter for Transferring and Continuing the Basic Medical Insurance Relationship" by mail, the social security bureau of the transferring place sends back to the social security bureau of the transferring place the "Information Sheet of Changing the Type of Medical Insurance of the Participants", and the amount of the personal account of the medical insurance that needs to be transferred will be transferred as well.

5. The social security organization in the place of transfer shall handle the transfer formalities: after receiving the above transfer and continuity information form, the information form of change of medical insurance and the relevant transferred funds, the social security bureau in the place of transfer shall handle the social insurance in accordance with the regulations.

Article 23 of the Social Insurance Law of the People's Republic of China:

Employees shall participate in the basic medical insurance for employees, and shall pay the basic medical insurance premiums by the employing organization and the employees in accordance with the state regulations***.

Individual industrial and commercial households without employees, part-time employees who do not participate in the basic medical insurance for employees at their employing units, and other flexibly employed persons may participate in the basic medical insurance for employees, and individuals shall pay the basic medical insurance premiums in accordance with the state regulations.

Article 32 of the Social Insurance Law of the People's Republic of China:

If an individual is employed across the integrated region, his/her basic medical insurance relationship shall be transferred with him/her, and his/her years of contribution shall be cumulative.
