There is no deadline for the maternity allowance, as follows:

1. Maternity insurance reimbursement involves the person's ID card, marriage certificate, Family Planning Service Handbook or Certificate of Maternity, medical certificate of birth of newborn baby, and discharge statement, etc., which are usually issued the following month after the submission of the materials and review and approval. Establishing a labor relationship with the employer and giving birth during the period of working in the unit and participating in the city's urban social insurance;

Employees enjoying maternity insurance benefits shall comply with the national, provincial and municipal family planning regulations, and the employer shall have made contributions for them for a period of six consecutive months or more. Contributions are based on the time of normal enrollment and contributions, and the time of retroactive contributions before normal enrollment and contributions cannot be counted.
