Can I buy a car in Beijing after five years of social security?

The condition for non-Beijing registered households to buy a house is to provide proof that they have paid social security or personal income tax for 5 years. It used to be 1 year, but now it has been raised to 5 years.

Beijing registered families who already own a house, non-Beijing registered families who hold a valid Beijing temporary residence permit and have no house in Beijing, and have been paying social insurance or personal income tax for more than 5 years (inclusive) in Beijing, are restricted to purchase a house (including new houses and second-hand houses).

Houses in Beijing will be suspended for households with registered residence in Beijing who already own two or more houses, households with non-registered residence in Beijing who own/kloc-0 or more houses, and households with non-registered residence in Beijing who cannot provide valid temporary residence permits and have paid social insurance and personal income tax payment certificates in this city for more than five consecutive years.

Buy a car:

Beijing now carries out lottery to buy a car. After obtaining a motor vehicle driver's license, you can register the lottery online and buy a motor vehicle after winning the lottery.

People with Beijing household registration, foreigners with Beijing work residence permit and foreigners who have paid taxes in Beijing for more than 5 years and have tax payment certificates are eligible to sign up for the lottery and apply for a car.
