Nanjing Newborn Social Security Card Handling

For newborns, it is best to apply for a social security card within 3 months. If it is handled within 3 months, you will enjoy medical insurance benefits from your birthday. For more than 3 months, you can only enjoy medical insurance benefits in the next month. If it is not handled in time, you can share the medical insurance card with your mother. Household registration book (copy of the first page and this page of children's household registration), parents' ID card (double-sided copy) and one-inch photo of newborn with blue background or red background (required in some places), which is subject to local policies.
