Ruijin City belongs to Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province.

Ruijin, a famous national historical and cultural city, is located in the southeast of Jiangxi Province, in the east of Ganzhou City, at the west foot of the southern section of Wuyi Mountain and in the upper reaches of Gongshui River in the east of Ganjiang River. Between 25 30' ~ 26 20' north latitude and115 42' ~116 22' east longitude. It borders Changting County, Longyan City, Fujian Province in the east, Huichang County in the south, Yudu County in the west, Ningdu County in the north and Pishicheng County in the northeast.
