Application materials

1. The participant fills in the Application Form for Unemployment Insurance Benefits.

2. The original and photocopy of the Employment and Unemployment Handbook.

3. Application Form for Termination of Labor Contract.

4. A copy of ID card.

5. One one-inch color photo.

6. Bank passbook (not required if you have a social security IC card).

Procedures

1. Participants submit the information to the window of the social security department for the issuance of unemployment benefits by the 25th of each month.

2. The social security department examines the information, approves the payment of benefits and issues the Unemployment Insurance Benefits Card for those who are eligible.

3. The unemployed person with the social insurance IC card (or passbook), the Unemployment Insurance Benefits Card and other documents will receive the unemployment insurance benefits after the 15th day of the following month at any of the savings outlets of the Dongguan branch of Guangdong Development Bank.
