Unemployment benefits cannot be supplemented. Unemployment benefits collection process:

1. Within 15 days before the termination of the labor contract, the company will send personnel to the social security bureaus where unemployment insurance is paid to handle unemployment registration;

2. According to the regulations of the Social Security Bureau, individuals can only receive unemployment benefits if they have paid unemployment insurance benefits for more than 1 year and meet the conditions for receiving them;

3. In the process of filing, the employer needs to submit four kinds of materials to the Social Security Bureau and affix the official seal of the unit. These four materials are: the notice of dismissal issued by employees and related archival materials, unemployment certificates, unemployment reports, and routine official documents from the company to the Social Security Bureau;

4. After the unemployment registration is approved, the Social Security Bureau informs the unemployed to go to training, receive unemployment benefits and apply for an employment permit;

5. After the unemployed and the employing unit terminate or terminate the employment relationship, they shall go to the relevant street departments where their household registration is located to register for unemployment and go through the formalities of receiving unemployment insurance benefits with the audit documents, vocational guidance and training cards, household registration books, ID cards and three one-inch bareheaded photos issued by the Social Security Bureau.

Before unemployment, if the accumulated payment time of the employer and the unemployed person is less than 5 years 1 year, the longest period of receiving unemployment insurance benefits is 12 months; If the accumulated payment time is less than 10 years, the longest period of receiving unemployment insurance benefits is 18 months; If the accumulated payment time exceeds 10 years, the longest period for receiving unemployment insurance benefits is 24 months. If you are unemployed again after re-employment, the payment time will be recalculated, and the time limit for receiving unemployment insurance benefits can be combined with the time limit for receiving unemployment insurance benefits from the previous unemployment, but the maximum time limit shall not exceed 24 months.
