The employer (school) can inquire personal basic information through the online declaration system of human resources and social security in XX City or through the business window of social insurance agencies; Non-on-the-job personnel bring the original and copy of their valid ID cards to the streets (towns) under their jurisdiction to check their basic personal information. 2. Get a social security card. On-the-job personnel (students) can be collected by the unit (school); Non-on-the-job personnel can get it from the streets (towns) in their respective jurisdictions. 3. Open a social security card. After receiving the social security card, the insured person will open a social security card at the corresponding bank window with the original social security card and valid identity documents, and minors will be handled by the guardian with the original social security card, valid identity documents of the guardian and the original household registration book.

Legal basis: Article 33 of the Measures for the Administration of Social Security Cards of the People's Republic of China, relevant technical specifications, workflow, system requirements, card face styles, etc. Measures for the administration of social security cards shall be formulated separately by the Office of the Leading Group for Informatization of Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security according to these Measures.
