Does the company have to pay social security in the month when social security leaves?

The company pays social security for employees in the month of social security resignation.

In the month when the employee leaves the company, as long as the employee is still an employee of the company and actually works for the company, the company has the obligation to pay social security for the employee. This is based on the requirements of social insurance law, labor law and other laws and regulations, and the purpose is to ensure that employees still enjoy the corresponding social security rights and interests in the month of resignation.

Matters needing attention in social security payment in the month of resignation:

1. In the month of resignation, the employer will pay wages according to normal procedures and deduct the corresponding social security fees from it;

2. In the second month after leaving the company, the social security payment is generally stopped, and the employer no longer bears the social security expenses;

3. If the salary of the month of resignation is calculated according to the number of working days, the social security fee still needs to be paid in full;

4. If the employer fails to pay the social security fees in full and on time, it will face the penalty of being ordered to pay or make up within a time limit and adding a late fee;

5. The employing unit shall handle the formalities for the transfer of social security relations for the workers within fifteen days after the dissolution or termination of the labor contract;

To sum up, the company still needs to pay social security for employees who leave the company that month, and should ensure the timeliness and accuracy of social security payment.
