The scope of medical insurance card reimbursement includes:

1. Outpatient medical expenses, that is, the outpatient medical expenses incurred by the insured in treating common diseases or serious diseases in designated medical institutions after purchasing medical insurance can be reimbursed. Among them, "serious diseases" mainly include leukemia, hemophilia, malignant tumor, aplastic anemia and organ transplantation.

2, special drug costs, that is, the insured in a medical year, in line with the provisions of the special drug costs can apply for medical insurance reimbursement;

3. Hospitalization medical expenses, that is, if the insured needs emergency rescue and hospitalization due to illness, if the hospital is a medical institution established by the relevant department, the hospitalization medical expenses incurred during this period can be reimbursed according to the prescribed proportion.

According to the provisions of Article 28 of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), medical expenses that meet the basic medical insurance drug list, diagnosis and treatment items, medical service facilities standards and emergency rescue shall be paid by the basic medical insurance fund in accordance with state regulations.

Twenty-ninth medical expenses of the insured shall be paid by the basic medical insurance fund, and shall be directly settled by the social insurance agency, medical institutions and pharmaceutical business units.

The administrative department of social insurance and the administrative department of health shall establish a settlement system for medical expenses in different places to facilitate the insured to enjoy the basic medical insurance benefits.
