Leave at the end of February, social security in March

Legal analysis: I left my job at the end of February, and the social security employer stopped paying in March, which was borne by the individual. Generally speaking, employees who leave at the beginning of the month or in the middle of the month will stop paying social security in that month. Under normal circumstances, the company will not continue to pay employees the salary of the month. It is inconvenient to operate because the social security payment needs to be deducted from last month's salary, and the employee's new unit has full-time social security payment for employees in that month, so there is no problem to stop paying. If you leave your job at the end of the month, the social security will generally be paid by the original unit in the current month, and will be stopped next month, because employees may be paid this month (except in special circumstances), and the social security will not handle related business at the end of the month.

Legal basis: Article 58 of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that the employer shall apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration for employees within 30 days from the date of employment. If the social insurance has not been registered, the social insurance agency shall verify the social insurance premium it should pay. Employees-free individual industrial and commercial households who voluntarily participate in social insurance, part-time employees who do not participate in social insurance in the employing unit and other flexible employees shall apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration. The state establishes a national unified personal social security number. Personal social security number is a citizen's identity number.

Article 60 of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the employing unit shall declare on its own and pay social insurance premiums in full and on time. Except for legal reasons such as force majeure, the payment shall not be postponed or reduced. The social insurance premiums that employees should pay shall be withheld and remitted by the employer, and the employer shall inform me of the details of paying social insurance premiums on a monthly basis. Individual industrial and commercial households without employees, part-time employees who have not participated in social insurance in the employing units and other flexible employees can pay social insurance premiums directly to the social insurance premium collection agencies.
