How should freelancers pay social security?

Freelance citizens, if necessary, can bring their original valid identity cards directly to the employment agency or talent department where their household registration is located to apply for social insurance. 1. Freelance citizens can choose to apply for social security by calling employment agencies or talent markets.

According to the Social Security Law (1), individual industrial and commercial households without employees, part-time employees who have not participated in the basic old-age insurance in the employer and other flexible employees can participate in social insurance and pay corresponding fees.

Because the industrial injury insurance and maternity insurance in social insurance are clearly required to be purchased by the unit, individuals who purchase social insurance can only buy unemployment insurance, endowment insurance and medical insurance in social insurance. Maternity insurance and industrial injury insurance cannot be purchased; Personal unemployment insurance, endowment insurance and medical insurance expenses shall be borne by myself.

According to the actual situation, it is considered that it is complicated for government departments to handle social security business. To purchase social security, freelancers need to go to the relevant departments to unify their personal data through employment agencies or talent markets.

Second, individuals need to provide information when purchasing social security.

(1) The original and photocopy of my valid ID card;

(two) the local "application form for individual insurance" (generally filled in by the local social security insurance department);

3. Freelance citizens can consult personal insurance matters at their domicile.

At this stage, some grassroots social security departments also accept individuals to bring household registration books, ID cards and other information to social security institutions to participate in insurance in their own names. However, most institutions do not accept individual insurance because of the cumbersome procedures. Citizens can consult local social security agencies in advance, and if they can still make personal letters of introduction, they can bring household registration books, ID cards and other materials to the social security agencies to apply for personal insurance.

Four. The place and payment method for individuals to purchase social insurance.

(1) The purchase of personal social security is the same in the local area and the unit, and it needs to be handled by the relevant social insurance institutions in the insured area (in some areas, the payment of social security fees is managed by the local tax department, so it is necessary to apply for insurance in the local tax department). You can call the local social security hotline to find out where you are insured.

(2) The payment method of individual social security is the same as that of company social security purchase. Citizens need to bring a passbook or bank card. When handling insurance information, they can choose to directly link the bank card or passbook to deduct money, or they can choose to pay directly at home. Individuals do not need to declare in front of the door every month to pay social security. Citizens can regularly deposit enough money into the corresponding passbook, which will be collected by relevant institutions.
