Article 18 of the Regulations on the Management of Housing Provident Fund: The deposit ratio of housing provident fund for employees and units shall not be less than 5% of the average monthly salary of employees in the previous year; Conditional cities can appropriately increase the deposit ratio. The specific deposit ratio shall be drawn up by the Housing Provident Fund Management Committee and submitted to the people's governments of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government for approval after being audited by the people's governments at the corresponding levels. According to "Regulations on the Management of Housing Provident Fund" and "Interpretation of Regulations on the Management of Housing Provident Fund" in the State Council, the calculation and payment methods of housing provident fund are as follows:
First, the employee housing provident fund consists of two parts. First, individual employees are deducted from their wages every month according to regulations (withheld and remitted from their wages by their units every month); Second, the unit pays a part for employees every month according to regulations. The two parts are owned by individual employees and must be deposited into the housing provident fund account according to regulations.
Two, the monthly deposit amount of housing provident fund = the average monthly salary of employees in the previous year (that is, the salary base for calculating housing provident fund) × (the proportion of unit deposit)+the average monthly salary of employees in the previous year × (the proportion of individual deposit). Suppose: the average monthly salary of an employee in the previous year was 2,500 yuan, and the contribution ratio of units and individuals was 8% respectively, then the employee's monthly contribution was: 2,500 yuan ×8% (unit contribution)+2,500 yuan ×8% (individual contribution) = 400 yuan. In order to facilitate the operation, the unit can implement the monthly deposit amount of each employee's housing provident fund in yuan, and the following yuan is rounded off.
Three, the calculation of housing provident fund wage base, to the National Bureau of Statistics issued the "Regulations on the composition of total wages" shall prevail. Employee's salary consists of the following six parts: hourly salary, piece-rate salary, bonus, allowance and subsidy, overtime salary and salary paid under special circumstances.
