Is social security in Fujian province networked?

As of August 2019, social security in Fujian Province is not yet nationally networked. The existing policy, it is possible to transfer the personal account part of the pension insurance back to the place of domicile, but the other integrated part and the number of years of pension insurance participation will not be available. The process of social security transfer is as follows:

(1) When the insured person terminates the payment of contributions and leaves the place of employment, the social insurance agency in the place of employment will issue a nationally standardized Certificate of Participation.

(2) After the insured person establishes the basic pension insurance relationship in the place of employment, the employer or the insured person submits an application for transferring and renewing the basic pension insurance relationship to the social insurance agency of the new place of employment, and fills in the Application Form for Transferring and Renewing the Basic Pension Insurance Relationship by presenting the Certificate of Participation and Payment of Contributions.

(3) Within 15 working days, the social insurance agency of the new insured place accepts and examines the Application Form for Transfer and Continuation of Basic Pension Insurance Relationships and relevant information, and issues a Contact Letter of Transfer and Continuation of Basic Pension Insurance Relationships to the social insurance agency of the first place where the original basic pension insurance relationship of the insured person is located if the conditions of transfer and continuation of the basic pension insurance relationship are met. For those who do not meet the conditions for the transfer, the employer or the insured person who applies for the transfer shall be given a written explanation.

(4) Within 15 working days of receiving the "Letter of Contact for the Transfer and Continuation of Basic Pension Insurance Relationships", the social insurance agency in which the original basic pension insurance relationship is located will complete the formalities of transferring the basic pension insurance relationship. This includes transmitting the "Basic Pension Insurance Relationship Transfer Information Form" to the social insurance agency of the participant's new place of employment and transferring the fund in accordance with the regulations.

(5) Upon receipt of the "Basic Pension Insurance Relationship Transfer Information Form" and the transfer fund from the social insurance agency of the participant's original place of employment, the social insurance agency of the new place of employment will complete the relevant procedures within 15 working days and notify the employer or the participant of the completion of the procedures.
