Is it illegal to continue to apply for social security after death?

After the death of the party concerned, the family members shall promptly provide the social security agency with the death certificate or cremation certificate of the party concerned, and the social security agency shall stop paying the pension from the month after the death of the party concerned, and calculate the funeral expenses, pension and personal account balance (if any).
