The social security personal number is the card number of the social security card, as follows:

1. The card number on the social security card is the serial number generated when handling the card, usually 7 or 9 digits. A personal number automatically generated by me after social security registration represents my personal information, through which I can find my social security card number and so on. , and almost all social security services are queried through this number;

2. Under normal circumstances, the social security cards of employees in the unit are handled centrally by the unit. Within three months from the date of admission, the personnel department of the unit will also go to the Social Security Bureau to obtain the certificate. After the social security card of the insured person is obtained, it is activated in the bank or designated hospital and can be used normally.

The employing unit shall, within 30 days from the date of employment, apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration for its employees. If the social insurance has not been registered, the social insurance agency shall verify the social insurance premium it should pay.

Employees-free individual industrial and commercial households who voluntarily participate in social insurance, part-time employees who do not participate in social insurance in the employing unit and other flexible employees shall apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration.

The state establishes a national unified personal social security number. Personal social security number is a citizen's identity number.

The people's governments at or above the county level shall strengthen the collection of social insurance premiums.

Social insurance premiums shall be uniformly collected, and the implementation steps and specific measures shall be stipulated by the State Council.
