How does Shenzhen pay social security by itself?

According to the relevant regulations, employees who have not reached the statutory retirement age and are employed flexibly in Shenzhen can apply to participate in the basic old-age insurance for employees of enterprises in Shenzhen in their personal capacity, and individuals pay the basic old-age insurance premium. Mainly includes the following categories of people:

1. Individual industrial and commercial households without employees;

2. Part-time employees who have not participated in the basic old-age insurance in the employer;

3. Employees with new employment forms who rely on new business platforms such as e-commerce, online car rental, online food delivery and express logistics to achieve employment and have not established labor relations with new business platform enterprises;

4 other flexible employees stipulated by the state and our province.

Non-Shenzhen household registration personnel applying for flexible employment insurance payment should also pay attention to the following aspects:

1. The flexible employees (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents) with foreign household registration in Guangdong Province who have reached the age of 50 and 40 for the first time in our province need to establish temporary basic old-age insurance payment accounts at the same time. When reaching the statutory retirement age, the basic old-age insurance paid in our city can be transferred back to the place where the treatment is received.

2. If the insured person pays as a worker and a flexible employee at the same time, he should stop paying as a flexible employee in time. The basic old-age insurance premium paid by flexible employees during the repeated payment period shall be returned to the individual in full according to the regulations.
