Social security system

Social Pension and Resettlement is a special component of social security, belonging to a special class of social security, and is a special platform for the realization of social security. The purpose of social preference resettlement is preferential treatment and pension; the object of social preference resettlement is military personnel and their families; the basic feature of social preference resettlement is preferential treatment of military personnel and their families; the source of the fund of social preference resettlement is the state financial allocation.

Social security is an important guarantee of social stability. The report of the 17th CPC National Congress pointed out that: we should accelerate the improvement of the social security system on the basis of social insurance, social assistance and social welfare, focusing on the basic old-age pension, basic medical care and the minimum subsistence guarantee system, and supplemented by charitable work and commercial insurance. Promote reform of the basic pension insurance system for enterprises, organizations and institutions, and explore the establishment of a rural pension insurance system. Comprehensively promote the construction of basic medical insurance for urban workers, basic medical insurance for urban residents, and a new type of rural cooperative medical system.

Role

Improving the social security system means taking social insurance, social assistance and social welfare as the basis, focusing on the basic old-age pension, basic medical care, and minimum subsistence guarantee systems, and supplementing them with charities and commercial insurance, thus realizing the role of social stability and the people's contentment. This role is reflected in four aspects:

I) The role of the "safety net". The role of "equalizer". A perfect social security system is not only conducive to improving the quality of workers, promoting the orderly flow of labor, stimulating the vitality of China's economy to a certain extent, and promoting faster economic development, but also to avoid excessive expansion of social consumption, guiding the consumption structure to be more reasonable, balancing the total amount of social supply and demand, and helping to prevent fluctuations in the economic development, and to achieve better development.
