The man's maternity insurance reimbursement process:
1. Male employees who meet the following conditions can apply for a one-time maternity allowance:
(1) conforms to the national family planning policy and statutory fertility conditions;
(2) When the spouse gives birth or miscarries due to pathological reasons, the employer participates in maternity insurance and has paid maternity insurance premiums for male employees normally and continuously, excluding overdue payment, unpaid payment and interruption of payment for more than 10 month;
(3) The spouse did not participate in maternity insurance and gave birth to the first child;
2. The standard of one-time maternity allowance is: 200 yuan with abortion; Natural childbirth 1200 yuan; 2000 yuan for dystocia or multiple births;
3. After the spouse gives birth or miscarries due to pathological reasons, the male worker goes to the city or district where the social security relationship of his unit is located with the spouse's resident ID card, marriage certificate, birth status certificate or first birth certificate issued by the family planning department, medical certificate of newborn birth, discharge record, detailed list of expenses, medical card of himself, original invoice and certificate of no work unit and no fixed income source issued by the street where the spouse is registered. After the audit by the social security agency, the Payment Form of One-time Maternity Allowance for Male Employees will be printed, and the male employees will receive the subsidy amount after signing for confirmation;
4, "birth certificate" or "first birth certificate" to the family planning commission. No proof of unemployment time is required, but a proof of no work unit and no fixed income source issued by the street where the spouse is registered.

Maternity insurance raises funds according to the principle of "supporting fixed income and basically balancing income and expenditure". Enterprises pay maternity insurance premiums to social insurance agencies according to a certain proportion of their total wages and establish maternity insurance funds. The extraction ratio of maternity insurance premium is determined by the local people's government according to the number of family planning, maternity allowance, maternity medical expenses and other expenses, and can be adjusted in time according to the expenses, but the maximum shall not exceed 1% of the total wages. Maternity insurance premiums paid by enterprises are included in the management expenses of enterprises as the period expenses.
Self-employed workers do not pay maternity insurance premiums.

Social insurance agencies can extract management fees from the maternity insurance fund, which can be used for personnel expenses, office expenses and other business expenses required by the agencies to handle maternity insurance. Management fee standards, according to the staffing situation of local social insurance institutions, are proposed by the labor department, audited by the financial department and reported to the local people's government for approval. The extraction ratio of management fees shall not exceed 2% of the maternity insurance fund.
Maternity insurance funds and management fees are not taxed or charged.
