Opening a social security card is still a fresh student.

Open social security card or fresh graduates, because the national definition of fresh graduates:

1. is about to graduate, but has not yet obtained a diploma, or has stopped studying and is in an internship state.

2. Those who have obtained a diploma, but the time limit for obtaining the diploma does not exceed the working years (those who have exceeded are previous students).

3. College graduates refer to the graduates of that year (doctoral graduates, master graduates and undergraduate graduates).

4. The fresh graduates of ordinary colleges and universities refer to the students who graduated from full-time higher education in the same year after the unified recruitment.

However, after paying social security, they are not fresh graduates. After signing a labor contract and paying social security, even if the work unit, file and organizational relationship are confirmed, they will be handed over to the company or the local talent market for safekeeping, and they are not fresh graduates. According to relevant laws and regulations, fresh graduates refer to students who are about to graduate or have graduated in the year of graduation. Simply put, a student's last year in college is a fresh graduate. The employing unit shall, within 30 days from the date of employment, apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration for its employees. The state establishes a national unified personal social security number. Personal social security number is a citizen's identity number.

However, if the candidate signs a tripartite agreement with the employer, it will not affect the identity of the fresh graduates. The so-called tripartite agreement is only a binding document between individuals, schools and employers. As long as you sign a tripartite agreement, you can be regarded as a fresh graduate with the registration card issued by the school.

Article 58 of People's Republic of China (PRC) Social Insurance Law

The employing unit shall, within 30 days from the date of employment, apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration for its employees. If the social insurance has not been registered, the social insurance agency shall verify the social insurance premium it should pay. Employees-free individual industrial and commercial households who voluntarily participate in social insurance, part-time employees who do not participate in social insurance in the employing unit and other flexible employees shall apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration. The state establishes a national unified personal social security number. Personal social security number is a citizen's identity number.

Article 74 of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC)

The social insurance agency shall obtain the data needed for social insurance work through business handling, statistics and investigation, and the relevant units and individuals shall provide it in a timely and truthful manner.

The social insurance agency shall establish a file for the employer in a timely manner, completely and accurately record the social insurance data such as personnel's participation in social insurance and payment, and properly keep the original vouchers for registration and declaration and accounting vouchers for payment and settlement.

The social insurance agency shall timely, completely and accurately record the individual's personal rights and interests such as social insurance payment, employer's payment and social insurance benefits, and regularly send the personal rights and interests records to me free of charge.

Employers and individuals can inquire and check the records of payment and social insurance benefits from social insurance agencies free of charge, and ask social insurance agencies to provide social insurance consultation and other related services.
