The password of the electronic social security card can be modified or reset through the WeChat city service. The specific operation steps are as follows:

Modify or reset 1 through WeChat City Service and click Service.

Go to WeChat and click Service.

2. Click on the city service.

Enter the page, and click the city service.

3. Click Social Security.

Click Social Security on the page.

4. Click on the electronic social security card.

Click the electronic social security card after entering the page.

5. Select Reset Password.

Click Reset Password on the page to start modifying the password.

Legal basis: Article 83 of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC): If an employer or an individual thinks that the behavior of a social insurance fee collection agency infringes upon its legitimate rights and interests, it may apply for administrative reconsideration or bring an administrative lawsuit according to law.

Individuals and employers who have social insurance disputes may apply for mediation, arbitration and bring a lawsuit according to law. If an employer infringes upon an individual's social insurance rights and interests, the individual may also request the social insurance administrative department or the social insurance premium collection agency to deal with it according to law.
