According to the provisions of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the following measures are formulated to receive funeral subsidies and pensions for the survivors of the insured who died due to illness or non-work:

1.Starting from July 1 1, if an individual who participated in the basic old-age insurance for enterprise employees and did not receive the basic pension died due to illness or non-work, his survivors can receive funeral grants and pensions. The required funds are paid from the basic old-age insurance fund.

2. The following standards are temporarily implemented for funeral grants and pensions: funeral grants 1200 yuan. If the payment period of the basic old-age insurance is over 15 years, the pension standard will be calculated and paid according to 40% of the average salary of local employees in the previous year and 10 months; If the payment period is less than 15 years, the calculation formula of pension standard is:

Pension = 40% of the average salary of local employees in the previous year ×10× my payment period (including deemed payment period, calculated to the month)/15.

If the payment period is less than 1 year, it shall be calculated as 1 year. If the pension standard is lower than the endowment insurance premium paid by the individual and incorporated into the overall plan, the difference will be returned to the legal heir.

Three, to participate in the basic old-age insurance, retired, resigned due to illness or non-work-related death, funeral expenses, pension payment methods still implement the original policy of our province. The funeral subsidy and pension standard of the insured (including those who have retired, resigned and have not received the basic pension) shall be implemented in accordance with the unified provisions of the state after the relevant policies are promulgated by the state. If it is lower than the standard stipulated by the state, it shall be reissued.
