Buying a house in Wuhan requires two years of social security. Wuhan hukou does not need to pay social security.

First, the conditions for foreigners to buy a house in Wuhan are:

According to the purchase restriction order in Wuhan, it is tentatively decided to buy 1 apartment (including newly-built commercial housing and second-hand housing, the same below) for households with registered residence in this city (including couples and minor children) and non-registered households that can provide the tax payment certificate or social insurance payment certificate in this city 1 year;

For families with registered residence in this Municipality who already own two or more houses, families with non-registered residence in this Municipality who own 1 house and above, and families with non-registered residence in this Municipality who cannot provide tax payment certificate or social security payment certificate 1 year, the sale of houses to them shall be suspended within the administrative area of this Municipality;

In violation of the provisions of the purchase, not for real estate registration.
