Can social security cards be reissued in different places?

According to Baidu law, social security cards can be reissued in different places. The method of reporting the loss of social security card is as follows:

1. After the cardholder loses his social security card, he can call the social security card service hotline "96102" (24-hour service) to report the loss in advance; You can also go through the written pre-loss reporting procedures at the social security card service outlets with your resident ID card or household registration book, or directly report the loss at the self-service terminals set up at the social security card service outlets and designated medical institutions above the second level;

2. If the loss-reporting person determines that the lost social security card cannot be recovered, he/she shall formally report the loss to the social security card service outlets with his/her resident ID card, and go through the formalities for replacing the card.

Legal basis: Article 29 of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that the part of the medical expenses of the insured who should be paid by the basic medical insurance fund shall be directly settled by the social insurance agency, medical institution and pharmaceutical business unit. The administrative department of social insurance and the administrative department of health shall establish a settlement system for medical expenses in different places to facilitate the insured to enjoy the basic medical insurance benefits.
