Can I still report a work-related injury by swiping my medical insurance card?

Legal analysis: China's social insurance law stipulates that work-related injuries cannot be reimbursed if medical insurance cards are swiped. Medical insurance fund cannot be used for work-related injuries. You can only pay in advance by yourself, and then take the invoice list, identification certificate and other documents to the social security bureau's work injury window for reimbursement. Even if the work-related injury is covered by a medical insurance card, it cannot be reimbursed. Even if the medical insurance card is used, the worker can only refund the advance payment first, and then apply to the industrial injury insurance fund for reimbursement of industrial injury expenses.

Legal basis: Article 30 of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the following medical expenses are not included in the payment scope of the basic medical insurance fund:

(a) shall be paid by the industrial injury insurance fund;

(2) It shall be borne by a third party;

(three) shall be borne by public health;

(4) Go abroad for medical treatment. Medical expenses that should be borne by a third party according to law. If the third party is unable to pay or cannot determine the third party, the basic medical insurance fund will pay in advance. After the basic medical insurance fund pays in advance, it has the right to recover from the third party.
