How to pay back the medical insurance for retired employees

So how should retired workers pay back their medical insurance?

(1) Documents and materials to be provided:

1. The insured who enjoys the retirement benefits of enterprise employees shall provide retirement certificates;

2. Industry as a whole retirees provide the original and photocopy of the Approval Form for Retirement and Resignation of Employees and the Approval Form for Continuous Service of Employees as the payment period;

3. The insured persons who enjoy the retirement benefits of civil servants and employees of public institutions shall provide the original and photocopy of the Retiree Registration Form or the Retiree Pension Audit Form;

4. The original ID card of the insured.

(2) Handling procedures:

1. The insured submits the application materials to the payment window of retirement medical insurance;

2. The staff shall review the application materials;

3. Those that meet the requirements and have complete materials will enter the business system after acceptance;

4. After completion, feedback the Notice of One-time Payment of Basic Medical Insurance for Urban Employees to the applicant, and inform the applicant to go through the relevant formalities and pay the fee at the window of the social security office.

It should be noted that retired employees who have paid back their medical insurance and then interrupted their medical insurance benefits because they did not pay back in time need to go through the formalities of paying back again and resume their medical insurance benefits from the next month after paying back, in which if they go through the formalities of renewing payment again within 3 months after the interruption, the medical expenses incurred during the interruption can be applied for sporadic reimbursement according to regulations.
