Can I apply for social security purchased in Chengdu when I have a baby in my hometown?

Legal analysis: Chengdu social security can go back to their hometown to have children and reimburse maternity insurance. After the insured person has paid the maternity insurance premium in full 12 months, it complies with the family planning policy, marriage law and other relevant provisions. However, within 90 days from the date of birth, the employer or I shall bring relevant information to the social security agency of the insured place for reimbursement (in the state of insurance payment at the time of reimbursement).

Legal basis: Article 56 of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), employees can enjoy maternity allowance in accordance with state regulations under any of the following circumstances:

(1) Female employees enjoy maternity leave;

(2) Enjoy family planning operation leave;

(3) Other circumstances stipulated by laws and regulations.

Maternity allowance is calculated and paid according to the average monthly salary of employees in the previous year of the employer.
