How long can social security work in the company?

Legal analysis: workers need to sign a labor contract with the employer. Not only that, the employer has to pay social security to the workers. According to the relevant regulations, the employer shall register the social insurance and declare and pay the social insurance premium within 30 days after the employee takes up the post. If the employer fails to pay the social insurance premium in full and on time, it shall, in addition to paying the social insurance premium, impose a late payment fee of 0.5% on a daily basis. Those who fail to pay social insurance premiums within the time limit will be fined.

Legal basis: Article 8 of the Regulations on the Administration of Reporting and Paying Social Insurance Fees in People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that the employing unit shall register social insurance for its employees and report and pay social insurance fees within 30 days from the date of employment. If the social insurance has not been registered, the social insurance agency shall verify the social insurance premium it should pay.

Article 86 stipulates that if the employer fails to pay the social insurance premium in full and on time, the social insurance premium collection agency shall order it to pay it within a time limit or make up for it, and an overdue fine of 5/10000 will be charged on a daily basis from the date of never paying it; Failing to pay within the time limit, the relevant administrative departments shall impose a fine of more than one time and less than three times the amount owed.
