What unit is the social insurance center?

This unit is a public institution responsible for managing social insurance affairs.

In China, the social insurance center belongs to the human resources and social security departments, and is the core institution of the social insurance system. Its responsibilities usually include: being responsible for the overall planning, collection, payment, management and supervision of social insurance, as well as the operation and management of social insurance funds.

The Municipal Social Insurance Affairs Center is a deputy county-level institution directly under the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and managed with reference to the Civil Service Law.
