What does flexible employment and large medical mutual insurance mean?

Large-scale medical mutual insurance for flexible employment is a large-scale medical insurance system established on the original basis to solve the problem of poverty caused by illness or returning to poverty due to illness of flexible employees. It mainly provides protection for medical expenses exceeding the maximum payment limit of basic medical insurance and reduces the serious illness burden of flexible employees.

The social security payment policy for flexible employees is "different from place to place". Some cities only support endowment insurance for employees, while others support endowment insurance for employees, medical insurance and unemployment insurance. Please consult the local social security bureau for details.

According to the provisions of the Social Insurance Law, flexible employees refer to those who achieve employment in flexible and diverse forms such as part-time, temporary, seasonal and flexible work, including individual industrial and commercial households without employees, part-time employees and freelancers such as lawyers, accountants, freelance writers and actors.

Flexible employees can voluntarily participate in the basic old-age insurance for employees, and all the required insurance premiums are borne by individuals. Flexible employees can also participate in the basic medical insurance for employees, and their individuals pay the basic medical insurance premium.

Individual industrial and commercial households without employees, part-time employees who have not participated in social insurance in the employing unit and other flexible employees who have participated in social insurance shall declare and pay social insurance premiums in accordance with the provisions of laws and administrative regulations or the declaration period and contents determined by the tax authorities in accordance with the provisions of laws and administrative regulations (if there are other provisions of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government on social insurance premium collection agencies, such provisions shall prevail).
