Participants

(a) urban and rural non-employed residents with household registration in Yangzhou City, underage residents not enrolled in school and newborn babies;

(b) school students within the administrative area of Yangzhou City (children of nursery and childcare institutions, primary and secondary school students, and full-time students of higher education and vocational and technical schools who have obtained their school registration), and (c) students who are not subject to the household registration requirement. The participation of school students is not subject to the restriction of household registration, but shall not be repeated;

(3) Non-employed persons who have obtained residence permits within the administrative area of Yangzhou City and who are not of household registration in the city;

(4) Other persons in accordance with the regulations.

Participation

(a) Ordinary urban and rural residents and minor residents who are not enrolled in school (child care) to the community, administrative village as a unit, unified registration procedures; newborns born within three months of the date of birth, the newborn's legal guardian with the household register, to the community of residence, administrative villages for registration procedures; the legal guardian with the newborn's household register, to the community of residence, administrative villages for registration procedures, and to the community of residence, administrative villages for registration procedures. Payment Methods

There are four main payment methods:

Methods and Standards of Financing

The urban and rural residents' health insurance program is based on a combination of individual contributions and financial subsidies, with individual contributions implemented on an annual basis.

(a) Individual contribution standards
