What is the current purchase restriction in Tianjin?

Tianjin has been implementing the purchase and loan restriction policy since March 30, 2017, and the qualifications for purchasing a home are defined as follows:

(1) The city of Tianjin (including the Tianjin collective account) can own two residences on a family basis, and one residence on an individual basis.

(2) Foreigners working in Tianjin are required to provide proof of social security or tax payment for two consecutive years within three years backward from the date of purchase, with no more than three months of back payment of social security. Both families and individuals can only own one residence.

One of the above conditions can be met.

What is more special is that currently there is no restriction on the number of residential units to be purchased in the Binhai New Area of Tianjin if you have the qualification to purchase a home.
