Can social security hospitalization be reimbursed?

Social security can reimburse medical expenses. But not all medical expenses can be reimbursed. Effective time: the social security paid by the company will take effect in the next month. Individuals who pay social security generally have a waiting period of half a year, and it takes half a year to enjoy medical insurance benefits. If it is after the social security payment, the outpatient, emergency and inpatient medical expenses incurred six months after the payment month can be paid by the basic medical insurance fund according to the medical insurance reimbursement standard.

In any of the following circumstances, the emergency and hospitalization expenses incurred since the payment month shall be paid by the basic medical insurance fund:

Within 60 days after the termination or rescission of the labor relationship with the employer, they shall participate in the basic medical insurance and pay the fees according to these measures.

Unemployed persons shall register for employment within 60 days after stopping receiving unemployment insurance benefits, and participate in basic medical insurance and payment in accordance with these measures. If you stop paying for more than 3 months and renew your insurance, it will be regarded as re-insurance, and there will be a waiting period of 3-6 months (different policies in different places), during which you will not be able to enjoy medical insurance reimbursement. After the waiting period is over, you can enjoy medical insurance benefits according to your re-enrollment, and recalculate the continuous payment time. The payment period of the insured employees before the deadline for payment can be included in the cumulative payment period.

Employees who pay medical insurance premiums for reasons of the unit shall be paid by the unit; Employees who pay medical insurance for personal reasons can choose whether to pay back according to local policies.
