Does the Social Security Bureau work on weekends?

On weekends, the Social Security Bureau doesn't go to work. The Social Security Bureau belongs to the state organs and implements unified working hours. Saturday and Sunday are weekly rest days. Details are as follows:

1, the role of the Social Security Bureau: to guide the social insurance work of social insurance agencies in counties (cities, districts);

2, organize the implementation of the city level social insurance work plan, strengthen the daily business management, to ensure that the plan is completed on time;

3, cooperate with relevant departments to do a good job in the management of the two lines of revenue and expenditure of social insurance funds, provide the original information of social insurance collection and payment to the local tax authorities in time, and be responsible for the timely disbursement of social insurance funds.

Legal basis:

Article 7 of the Regulations of the State Council on Working Hours of Employees.

State organs and institutions implement unified working hours, and Saturdays and Sundays are weekly rest days.

Enterprises and institutions that cannot implement the unified working hours stipulated in the preceding paragraph may flexibly arrange weekly rest days according to actual conditions.
