First, how to handle social security transfer for foreigners' retirement

Retirees can't transfer social security and medical insurance to other places, and they can enjoy basic old-age insurance benefits in the same place. According to the regulations, people who meet the requirements for applying for old-age insurance can apply for old-age insurance in their hometown if social security is transferred back to their hometown and they reach retirement age.

If you don't look back, when you reach retirement age, you can provide proof materials, a copy of your ID card and a copy of your passbook, and fill out an application form for pension benefits at the social security department where your household registration is located. For medical treatment in different places, the following information shall be provided:

1. Fill in the registration form of basic medical insurance for medical treatment in different places, and provide copies of ID card, social security card, residence certificate (original) or temporary residence permit issued by the police station in different places, and passbook for receiving pension wages.

2. If the resettlement personnel need to be hospitalized, they must be hospitalized in a designated hospital in a different place. The hospitalization expenses shall be paid by the individual first.
