When did social security come into effect?

Social security is implemented from 1986.

At that time, the contract system was only used for employees of state-owned enterprises. Anyone who takes part in the work after 1986 or 10 is a contract system and has paid endowment insurance. Since 1993, the state has tried out the full-time labor contract system for all fixed employees of state-owned enterprises, and then promoted it in various places, gradually improving the coverage and gradually starting flexible employment pension insurance. For the general public, rural endowment insurance and urban residents' endowment insurance were tried out in 1997.

The process of paying social insurance:

1. Go to the individual payment window of the social security agency to collect and fill in the Social Insurance Individual Payment Declaration Form and the Contract for Entrusting Banks to Collect Social Insurance Fees;

2, with the official seal of the bank "commissioned by the bank to collect social insurance contract";

3. With the required insurance information, social insurance individual payment declaration form and entrusted bank social insurance premium collection contract, go through the insurance formalities at the individual payment window of the social security agency in the area where the household registration is located;

4. If you need to apply for a labor security card, you must come in person to apply for it, and provide a copy of your ID card (the original inspection) and a digital photo receipt of the second-generation ID card network photo library approved by the municipal public security organ.

To sum up, social security payment methods are divided into two types: individual payment and unit payment. Under normal circumstances, when paying social security funds in the name of an individual, it can only be two parts of social security, namely pension and medical insurance. However, when the unit pays for the society, it can get more benefits. Units can help individuals to pay pension, medical insurance, housing provident fund, work injury insurance, unemployment insurance, maternity insurance and other expenses.

The personnel expenses of social insurance agencies and the basic operating expenses and management expenses incurred in handling social insurance shall be guaranteed by the finance at the same level in accordance with state regulations.
