Article 7 When applying for the employment permit of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao personnel in the Mainland, the employing unit shall submit the Application Form for Employment of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Residents and the following valid documents to the local (city) level labor and social security administrative department:

(a) the business license or registration certificate of the employer;

(2) Personal valid travel documents of the person to be hired or employed;

(three) the health certificate of the personnel employed or accepted;

(4) Letter of intent for employment or employment certificate;

(five) to be employed in the occupation (technical type of work) stipulated by the state, and provide the corresponding professional qualification certificate of the person to be employed;

(6) Other documents as prescribed by laws and regulations.

Article 8 The administrative department of labor and social security shall make a decision on employment permit within 10 working days from the date of receiving the Application Form for Employment of Residents from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao and related documents submitted by the employing unit. Those who meet the conditions stipulated in Article 6 of these Provisions shall be granted employment and issued employment certificates; If it does not meet the conditions stipulated in Article 6 of these Provisions, it shall inform the employing unit in writing and explain the reasons.

Article 9 The employing unit shall go through the registration and filing procedures for employing personnel from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao with the Employment Certificate to the administrative department of labor and social security that issued the certificate.

Article 10 Hong Kong and Macao personnel who are engaged in self-employment in the Mainland shall apply to the local administrative department of labor and social security at the prefecture (city) level for an employment permit with their individual business license, health certificate and valid personal travel documents. The administrative department of labor security shall handle it within 5 working days from the date of receiving the documents submitted by Hong Kong and Macao personnel.

Article 11 The employing unit shall sign labor contracts with employees from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao, and pay social insurance premiums in accordance with the Provisional Regulations on the Collection and Payment of Social Insurance Fees.
